Index of Jewish Figures: Biblical, Talmudic, and Medieval

Companion to the Talmud names glossary. Covers Jewish/Israelite figures from the Hebrew Bible, the Talmudic era (Tannaim and Amoraim), and the medieval period (Geonim and Rishonim). Names are scraped from curated English and Hebrew Wikipedia categories; Hebrew/English titles and biographical fields (father, teachers, students, birth/death date and place) are resolved through Wikidata. Non-Jewish biblical figures — foreign kings (Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Egyptian), antagonists from other peoples, and figures from non-Jewish religious traditions — are excluded.
